Mike had told me about them and I contacted both contractors - Andersen Windows of Southern NE and Cape Cod Home Improvement. Both said they would get in touch with the building department to see about closing them out. I will follow up to see where they stand. Erik suggested that I send you the attached preliminary drawings for your review and comments. The design stays within the existing footprint of the current home except for the 3' x ~14' cantilever that would extend over the existing patio (for the 2nd-floor bathroom).
