HomeMy WebLinkAbout18-325 SABEN No Coastal Bank Sketch Grant, Kelly From:Grant, Kelly Sent:Wednesday, December 4, 2019 12:47 PM To:'Daniel A. Ojala PE, PLS' Subject:RE: 66 Nottingham Drive DCE file #18-325 Thanks Dan I don’t think these transects are long enough to get a true indication of how far the bank extends. I did a few transects to the west of the property that show an average slope of 8:1 with some sections where it is less than 10:1 and some where its steeper (per Figure 5 of 92-1). There looks like a definite bank on the abutting property that tapers out on this property. We will need to see where that occurs. This can be reviewed as part of the NOI review and a site visit will be helpful. I do think the Commission will require longer transects. Thanks Kelly From: Daniel A. The flood zone has changed and the slope at the 100 year flood elevation is less than 10 percent, so per the DEP Policy, there is currently no coastal bank on this property. A sketch which plots at 1”=20’ on letter size paper is attached with transects showing the less than ten percent. Please call or email with any questions. Thanks, Daniel A.
