Violation: Zoning Bylaw Section 407.4.1—Failure to Obtain the Required Inspection for the
Family Related Apartment
SUMMARY
Zoning Bylaw Section 407.4.1 requires that all Accessory Apartments,which include Family Related
units, be inspected every two (2)years. On May 30, 2019 a notice was sent advising you that an
inspection for your unit was due for inspection. A second notice was sent October 2,2019,advising
you once again of this requirement. As of today, our records reflect you failed to respond to these
Notices. As a result, this Violation Notice is being issued.
Accordingly, failure to respond to this notice by December 12, 2019 will result in the issuance of
zoning tickets, with associated fines of up to $300 per day.
