In the meantime I will do a site visit and make a recommendation on how to proceed. You will probably need to file an after-the-fact permit request for the work. For your information – the area with 35 feet of a wetland is a “no-disturb zone” Natural vegetation should be left undisturbed is this area. You will likely need to allow this area to revegetate naturally. Here is a link to our web page with further information for you. http://yarmouth.ma.us/1222/Wetland- Protection-Regulations-Other-Inf Given the COVID-19 emergency I am not able to meet you in person but if it OK with you I can visit the site independently and get back to you with my recommendation by email. I appreciate your swift attention to this. I am confident that we will find a resolution that will allow you to enjoy your new home! Yes, I cleared out a lot of briars, leaves, downed trees and a ton of trash. This is my first home and as a new home owner I feel fortunate and excited to clean up and better my yard. I was truly unaware I was doing anything wrong and apologize. Please let me know what I need to do next. I would like to continue removing the years of garbage buried on this lot. You received the violation notice due to the clearing that was done on your property that is within the jurisdiction of the Wetlands Protection regulations. Can you confirm that you or your agent recently carried out clearing of vegetation at 31 Nauset Road in Yarmouth?
