Hi Kelly,
Thanks for your reply. I understand. Let’s go forward tonight on what we have. I will get you a revised plan on
the grading. All I am looking to do is smooth out the grade making it more level and consistent with both side
elevations and to replant what is there now. The grade needs to come up 12-18 inches at the lowest point to
better control and adsorb storm water. Please advise on what you would like to see on the revised plan.
Thanks again,
Jeff

Hi Jeff
I don’t have time to review this before tonight’s meeting. We will have to address it separately. I will
need to see an updated plan with the proposed changes in the grading. Do you want to continue and
discuss it all at the same time?
Thanks
Kelly

Hi Kelly,
Thank you for copying me on the agenda. I will be attending the meeting on Zoom to address
questions, etc.
I would like to address the elevation on the upriver side of the property between my lot and my
neighbors lot. Ironically, I have an excavation company working on site today doing some
grading and connecting the drains. The owner of the company called me this morning regarding
this area of the lot concerned that there is a valley down gradient between the two lots that is
about 12-18 inches lower than the existing elevation on both sides. I have attached a few images
for your review. The concern is that this area will collect water and encourage the flow of water
down the sea bank and likely into the river. The feeling is that it would be better for all
concerned to level this area off such that rain/storm water would absorb locally. I have discussed
this with my neighbor, Michael Shea and he is in agreement. Doing so would extend the natural
shape of the elevation extending off of the existing sea wall on Michael Shea’s property
extending onto mine not encouraging drainage onto the river bank. There is existing vegetation
in this area that I planted. My request is to carefully remove the vegetation, fill in the area and
then replant the existing vegetation as is and replacing any vegetation that doesn’t take with the
same or similar natural species.
Thank you,
Jeff Chizmas
