Dear Mr. Grylls,
`' McKenzie Engineering Consultants, Inc. completed an egress inspection of the exterior
egress stairway for the United Methodist Church located at 318 Old Main Street in
` South Yarmouth s as required by the 9' edition of the Massachusetts Building Code.

The steel framed landing and stairway was inspected during the site visit. The landing
and stairway is in structurally excellent condition. There was no indication of any rust
or metal fatigue in the review of the stair system.
Based on the inspection, we hereby certify that the exterior egress components at the
United Methodist Church are structurally adequate to perform the functions for what
they were designed to in accordance with the standards of public safety at the time of
original construction and in accordance with Section 1001.3.2 of the 9th edition of the
Massachusetts Building Code.
