You do not need to get a new plan drawn up, just use the one on file and describe the proposed work and work method. The filing forms are here. http://www.yarmouth.ma.us/696/Filing-Forms Thanks Kelly Grant Conservation Administrator Town of Yarmouth 508-398-2231 Ext 1288 kgrant@yarmouth.ma.us From: mjuppy@aol.com \[mailto:mjuppy@aol.com\] Sent: Monday, May 18, 2020 9:56 AM To: Grant, Kelly <KGrant@yarmouth.ma.us> Subject: Re: Dock at 200 Blue Rock Road Ok. Call the sender to verify if unsure. Otherwise delete this email. Hi Kelly, Hope you and everyone at the Town Hall are doing well. A little different these days trying to do business as usual. The dock at the above address which is my personal residence has had water run over the stationary pier on occasion during peak high tides. This has been happening for a few years. I am not sure if it has anything to do with opening up the River where the railroad bridge used to be which is just a little north of my property. Anyhow, I would like to fix it. My dock is just like it was when it was built and there will be no changes to the footprint of the structure. There are stairs that you go up from the ground to get to the pier, then it travels about 16 feet and then drops down about 2 feet and that section runs about 24 feet to the end of the pier where the float and gangway are located. It is this 24 feet dropped down section that has the issue. Lee Colton from Lemco is sending me an estimate on him pulling up the section adding framework on top of the existing pilings and then reattaching it to the new framework. There will be no piling removals or additions and all work will be done above the surface of the water. I believe Mark Burgess may have talked to you about this issue. My recollection from him is that it should not need a redesign and it may be able to be approved in house since there are no footprint changes or disturbances. Could you please advise me if we are on the right track and what is needed to accomplish this in a timely manner. Stay safe, Mark Uppendahl cell 508-367-1569 2
