Hi Nick
Thanks for your email. Any work within 100 feet of the top of bank requires prior permitting through the Conservation
Commission. Can I please ask you to attend the Commission meeting this Thursday to discuss the violation with the
Commission. They will then advise you of the steps to be taken to resolve the matter. You will mostly likely be required
to submit a restoration plan (perhaps as part of a Notice of Intent to replant the area with native plantings. A
combination of species will be required of varying heights and species. You cannot use beach grass alone.
Here is a link to the webpage for more information on the regulations. http://www.yarmouth.ma.us/1222/Wetland-
Protection-Regulations-Other-Inf
I will send you a copy of the Meeting Notice later today with instruction on how to attend. It is a virtual meeting on the
zoom application. The meeting begins at 4.30pm
Thanks

Hi,
This is Nick, I am the owner of 4 Glennwood in Yarmouth and happened to be the owner of 32 New Hampshire as well. I
think we met a few years back at 32 New Hampshire about the priest installation of the gazebo.
We are truly sorry about the confusion with our “spring clean up” of the Glenn wood property. The Lanscaper was just
cutting back the overgrown bushes along our sea wall and removing the rotted fence along the sea wall. The former
1
owners had not done any yard maintnece for over 10 years on the property and the fence had been failing as well. They
prior owners became very sick and did not attend to their property in the end.
We are planing on planting a lot natural sea grass in the areas that the scrub was cut back and returning the property to
its former glory with a new fence, similar to the 32 New Hampshire property.
I am hopeful we can work together and make the proper improvements that would be in line with conservation.
Please give me a call to discuss when you can.
Thanks Nick 508 776 7219
