It has come to the attention of the Building Department that a shed was placed on this property without the benefit of a required permit. This is a violation of Section 103.1 of the Town of Yarmouth Zoning Bylaws; 103.1.1 Compliance certification.Buildings, structures or land may not be erected—substantially altered or changed in use without certification by the Building Commissioner that such action is in compliance with then applicable zoning, or without review by him regarding whether all necessary permits have been received,from those governmental agencies from which approval is required by federal, state or local lave. Issuance of a building permit or certificate of use and occupancy, where required under the Commonwealth of Massachusetts State Building Code, may serve as such certification. To abate these alleged violations apply for and receive the proper permits for these violations. You are required to respond within 14 days of receiving this letter. Failure to comply with the provisions of the zoning bylaw may result in penalties as prescribed. 101.3 Penalties.Any person violating any of the provisions of this bylaw shall be fined not more than three hundred dollars ($300.00)for each offense. Each day that such violation continues shall constitute a separate offense. This order may be appealed to the Zoning Board of Appeals as prescribed under MGL c.40A, §§7 8 and 15T Questions regarding this matter may be directed to this department.
