Hi Kelly,
Because the family folks are in their 80s we really wanted to take extra care not to expose them to visitors, as they do
spend a great deal of time outside – this is why they are staying there - to be able to get fresh air and sunshine in a safe
place.
Some Commission members have visited the property.
As part of the application filed, of course you and the commission members are welcome and have permission to enter
the property for purposes of reviewing the application & plans.
However, the application process does not grant neighbors, interested parties, or members of the public permission to
enter the property; permission is limited to the conservation agent and the commissioners.
There is a neighbor who continues to trespass on any day at any hour, and it has become quite disturbing for the family
members who are in residence and for the owner (who has security cameras in place).
I just want to clarify that no neighbors have permission to enter the property for any purpose. The property lines and
boundaries were recently staked by JM O’Reilly & Associates, and stakes are clearly visible. This includes the beach
which is deeded with the property.
The adjacent beach was gifted to the town for use by residents who can walk on from Aunt Dorah’s Lane & Uncle
Jimmy’s Lane. The path which leads from the street to that beach is an easement created for residents to access the
neighborhood beach, which is not private. This is all recorded at the Registry of Deeds.
Please let me know if you need any documents for the neighborhood beach, as we have them on file.
Thanks,
Audrey

Hi Audrey
Most of the Commission members will be visiting the site over the coming days to review the restoration work
proposed. They have no need to go inside any buildings. They will remain outside, well away from any residents.

Dear Ms. Grant,
RE: Site visits to 35 Aunt Dorahs Lane, Yarmouthport
Please schedule all Conservation related site visits to the Francesco Melandri property with me.
There are elderly family members staying at the property, who are at high risk for exposure to Covid19. The
owner is out of state for work.
Please confirm that you have received this important request.
Thank you,
Audrey Hazel

Kelly,
It is my understanding that you were on my property today with a violation related visit. Is
this correct?
I am out of town and have guests at the house and know there has been no activity on the areas
of the property in question.
Please call me at your earliest convenience so I may learn the reason for coming on the
property.
Thank you and i look forward to hearing from you in the near future.
