Hi Raj
If you would like to receive sand from the dredging you will need to file a Notice of Intent with the Commission for
nourishment. The level of review from other state agencies would depend on the location of the nourishment. If you
are proposing below mean high water it will need to be reviewed/licensed by MassDEP, Division of Marine Fisheries, and
I think, Army Corp of Engineers. We would be looking at any impacts to wetland resource areas from the
nourishment. Here is a link to some information on the wetland regulations.

Also, we have been reviewing docks in your area for compliance and I noted that your float system is oversized from
what was permitted. There is no Certificate of Compliance on file for the permitting of the dock. We will be sending out
notices to non-compliant property owners in the coming weeks to bring these docks into compliance, but as we are in
touch I thought I would give you a heads up. The approved permit plan is attached for your reference.
Thanks

Hi Kelly
I own a house at 18 channel point Dr. In w Yarmouth
The channel that we are on gets dredged from time to time. I was wondering if I could have some of the sand
that is dredged to be deposited on the edge of my property that is currently composed of mud and clay. This
will allow me to pull my docks on to land easily in the winter.

We currently hire an expensive crane to pull them out and put them back in every season.
Thanks for your guidance.
Best
Raj
