Subject:Re: Sand Nourishment AOP Beach Association.
Hi Kelly,
Our board met this past Saturday and everyone seems to be happy with the Cape Sand sample . I will bring it to our
annual association meeting in August for their questions, any concerns they may have and their approval as we now
need to vote for more funds to move forward with the replenishment.
Best,
John Hickey

relook at their source sample.

for clarification as to the problem with it if any?As I’ve indicated in several past emails, Crowell Beach shares the same
beach with us and they’ve nourished with Dig It twice in the last few years. I’m simply trying to provide our association
of 88 families with viable options for sand that’s conducive to our beach, and environmentally friendly, as well as
providing fair pricing options. Many of our members frequent Crowell Beach and they like the sand. I’d like to show the
association members both samples at our annual meeting. If there’s something wrong with the present Dig It sieve, I
can have them submit another. I assumed we’d have the option to choose from several companies if their sources are
compatible enough or is Cape Sand the only company that can be used? Dig It I assume would be acceptable since the
commission approved several nourishment’s using them on the same beach as us over the last few years. I just want to
do the best for our association as I pass on all of the information around this project and our work with you and the
commission over the past year.
