We propose to install an arbor over a seating area in our front garden, because we don't have a backyard
and planting trees over septic tanks is prohibited. The arbor is made of two sections of powder-coated
tubular steel with antique rusted-looking finish. Each section is 54"W x 22"D. We propose to install both
sections next to each other at a height ol 7'. Fot more details about the arbor and its placement, please
see the attached pictures. ln a few years, the arbor will be covered with honeysuckle, clematis, and the
seasonal moonflower, all of which will add sweet scents, attract pollinators, and provide shade underneath.

There is a very nice google map picture of the O'Connors standing in front of the house admiring their
work on the walkway. I support what they are doing and the arbor and stone work. My only concern is
about the location. lt needs to be back far enough so that it will not obstruct their view getting out of
their driveway. Being back a few feet from the sidewalk - it would be framed by the line of trees.
I approve of the other 3 projects as well.
Richard
I only wish that the committee members could see all of the good things going on.
