SUBJECT: 136 Wimbeldon Court – Demolition Request
On September 24, 2020, the Yarmouth Historical Commission met on site to tour and consider the above referenced property in anticipation of a request to demolish. The intended purpose
of the demolition is to enable construction of a new home.
A demolition permit application was filed with the Building Department on September 14, 2020. This application along with a Notice of Intent to Demolish was considered by the Yarmouth
Historic Commission at their meeting on September 24, 2020. The Commission recognized that the structure was built in 1938, but it was determined that it was not significant. Accordingly,
the Commission voted unanimously that the structure to be demolished was not significant, and that the applicant could proceed with demolition.
