Paul Butler and I went out there, and we think we can/should extend the dock 10 feet landward.
He can use other piles for that landward section; perhaps even just 6"x6" posts, unless he can get a hold of more
fiberglass piles, and those don't affect the Feb. 15th date.
The homeowner is okay with that too.
This way the steps should start at the edge of the lawn, well away from the high tide lines.
