YPD and Tim Sears visited the site in response to issues identified as a result of a medical emergency approximately a year or so ago. They did find evidence that someone was living in the trailer, and violation notices / tickets were sent. No action was taken and we have not had any further complaints regarding the trailer. Another complaint from the complainant was in regards to trash burning and a boat in the front yard, to which we confirmed the violation and sent a violation notice. The violation was addressed by the owner and the boat was removed. The latest complaint has to do with a firewood sales business. During the last conversation that Tim Sears had with the complainant, it was mentioned that a Facebook ad existed. Tim searched FB through several dozens of ads and found nothing. The complainant was then asked to provide the ad as proof to attach to a forthcoming violation notice. The complainant has yet to produce the advertisement. Tim will be drafting a violation notice. Without the ad, the notice is useless technically. He said / he said. He will be sending one in the next week or two. It is my understanding that the vehicles have plates on them. The complainant asked what the town could do if the violations were not addressed. He was informed that ultimately the town would perhaps have the violation in court if the violations are deemed valid. That is the extent of conversation regarding Town Counsel. Hope this answers the questions. He states that he has called various offices and the police dept. regarding his neighbor. Mr. McNbill states that his neighbor is running a fire wood business from his home, lives in a trailer on the property, runs one of two wood chippers at various times during the day and early evening and has several unregistered cars on the property. Could you let me know where you are in the process of addressing the problems described. Mr. McNbills said he was told Town Counsel needed to be involved. Can you tell me what Town Counsel would be asked to do in this case. Thanks, Bob L.
