We are writing in support of our neighbors at 50 Park Ave West Yarmouth petition to
remodel their current home. The home they are living in is very old and in desperate need of
modernization to make the home more habitable for their young family. They have been
sharing the details like plans and proposed updates with us as we have been well aware of the
challenges this older home has presented to them since they purchased it almost a year ago.
We feel that it will look beautiful and it will add value to the neighborhood and as neighbors
we would love them to be able to use this home year round. The home needs updates to the
upstairs as it is very cramped and the layout is not conducive to small children. The home also
needs modernization of heating systems and plumbing so they will be able to use the home
year round as it was primarily designed in the early 1900's for a summer residence not a year
round home for a growing family. We hope the Civitci family will be able to improve their
home and their design will fit right into our growing and evolving neighborhood.
