Hi Kelly,
I have done a little research since our last conversation re. the dock at the
waterfront by my house. I had said to you that there was always a dock
there. I spoke with Mr. Mello at the Ray and Sons Barbershop in
Yarmouth. He grew up in the house next door at 15 Sunset Pines. His
father was Ray Mello. He told me there was always a floating dock that his
father put in and took out of the water every year. That was through the
60's and possibly into the 70's. Then, from that point on, Mr. Tom Ward on
the other side of me, had a dock that he put in and out of the water. T
here were a few years when it was not in, as he was feeling older and unable
to move it each year. That house faces Station Ave. He sold the house to
our current neighbors back in 2011. Since then we have done a couple
repairs on this dock which was always resting on cement blocks until my
husband added the posts last summer, not realizing it would cause a
problem. The picture I have posted here is one of the previous state of the
dock. I have a picture of the dock in its current state and a picture of
aluminum legs with aluminum platforms for those legs that one of the
neighbors, Mike Nevulis, who now owns the Mello house, has on hand and
offered these parts for repair, should that meet your specifications. I have
been unable to upload those into the computer. ( Issues of being an older
person and constantly befuddled by technology.) I will keep trying, or let me
know if I can text those to you.
I look forward to hearing from you as to any other preparation I will need to
make prior to the meeting. Thank you so much.

Sincerely,
Linda
