WAIVER OF 45-DAY DETERMINATION OLD KING'S HIGHWw
The applicant/applicant's agent understands and agrees that due to the current declared
National and State public health emergencies the determination of our Application for a
Certificate of Appropriateness/Demolition/Exemption may not be made within 45 days of the
filing of such application.
The applicant agrees to extend the time frame within which a determination is to be made as
required by the Old King's Highway Regional Historic District Act.

DESIGN NOTES:
SK-1 N1 - The W10x45 beam can fit into a 2"x 10" ceiling package flush. It
g� requires being held level w/ the top of the attic joists enabling for
SK-2 floor sheathing to run over the top when it is installed. Along the
bottom strapping against the beam is replaced w/ 1"x 8" spruce ledger
boards. The 1/2" GWB will then run under and tight to the bottom
flange of the beam. A slight ceiling roll but it will not be noticed.
#1 - Flush Beam; W10x45 w/ full web 2"x 10" solid packing each side w/
2 rows of 1/2" Carriage Bolts stagger spaced 16" o/c. Align so that
the rows of bolting do not interfere w/ the flush frame joist hangers.
Provide pair of 9/16" dia. Holes EE to allow for lag bolting of the
bottom beam flange to the top of the D-fir posts

#2 - Install either 4"x 8" D-Fir or 3.5"x 7.25" P-Lam solid stick posts
for the beam supports. Posts to sit tight on existing bottom wall
shoe plate. Beam to sit directly on the tops of the posts which will
require cutting the top plates. After the beam is set and bolted to
the posts run a pair of Simpson LSTA18 strap ties to connect the plates
