Letter from resident
Dear members of the board,
May I begin with apologizing to those whom I may have upset. This was not my intention by any
means. I only wanted to create a clean and safe environment for my daughter and my nephew to grow
up in. I have noticed that many rodents and Coyotes (or fox) have been living within the ivy and brush,
previously killing turkeys etc. in the yards posing a safety hazard for my children. My daughter has many
disabilities which makes it difficult for her to walk and leave our home. A large area was mostly old
brush that must have been cleared by the previous owners which the ivy grew around. I wanted to clear
the ivy which was mixed with poison ivy to make it easier and safer for her to access our yard as she
loves sitting by the water. I thought that by having a small patio closer to the water would bring her
some added joy to her life. (I have since removed the partially placed patio per your request) I have had
plans to replace the ground cover to keep the natural appearance and the safety of the area. I thank you
for the list of approved plantings for my yard. I have attached a tentative plan pending your approval.
