A. Installer Qualifications: A firm or individual certified, licensed, or otherwise qualified by spray-
applied cellulosic insulation manufacturer as experienced and with sufficient trained staff to
install manufacturer's products according to specified requirements.
B. Surface-Burning Characteristics: As determined by testing identical products according to
ASTM E 84 by a qualified testing agency. Identify products with appropriate markings of
applicable testing agency.
C. Mockups: Build mockups to verify selections made under Sample submittals and to
demonstrate aesthetic effects to set quality standards for materials and execution.
1. Build mockup of each required finish as shown on Drawings.
2. Approval of mockups does not constitute approval of deviations from the Contract
Documents contained in mockups unless Architect specifically approves such deviations
in writing.
