Hi Johanna,
Please find attached the Agenda for the Design Review meeting on June 20th. The meeting starts at 3:30 and you
are second on the agenda. Room A is located on the upper level of Town Hall in the rear of the building.
I have taken a quick look at the plans and had a couple questions/comments:
1. Existing Buffer Trees: Existing large diameter trees within the buffer along Willow near the southern
entrance are not shown on the existing conditions plan or reflected in the Artistic Rendering. The zoning
bylaw requires existing buffer trees greater than 4ā in diameter be maintained.
2. Chain Link Fence: Will there continue to be a chain link fence around the parking area?
3. Equipment Pad: An equipment pad is noted on the northeast end of the Louvered Carport D. Can you
provide more detail on what is on the equipment pad? Iām not sure of the exact location under the canopy
and am wondering if it will be visible from the entrance along Willow Street.
4. Photos: It would be helpful if you had any photos of actual installations of these types of canopies that you
could bring to the DRC meeting.
5. Parking: Due to the number of 3ā columns required to support the canopies, will you be losing any existing
parking spaces? This is not a DRC issue, but should be addressed for Site Plan Review to ensure there
remains adequate parking for your use.
See you on Tuesday.
Thanks,
Kathy
