PO BOX 82 Andover, MA 01810 I want to make sure I received the information. This is a huge practice and should not be going in our village. The Cape Cod Cooperative Bank has been in violation of your Zoning laws for years and I have had to live with it being directly across the street. And now Dennis partners is in violation simply by having those awful halogens on the building that shine directly into my home all night. We need a better more village appropriate business that a massive urology office with ambulances coming in and out--the traffic is already bad enough. Who can I direct my concerns to before the meeting? I spoke to my neighbor who said the plan for Thatcher Shore is too big and that the Urology office is going to create more traffic. Did my email get forwarded to Dawn Marie Slett? I got a bounce back. Please send to her and cc me and can I please have the Selectman's emails that I requested? Thank you so much! On Mon, Aug 9, 2021 at 4:10 PM nancy berry <berry42067@gmail.com> wrote: Dear Ms. Rogers and Ms. Slett, 6 I have concerns about the 125 Route 6A, which looks like it will further destroy the integrity of this historic village of Yarmouth Port. I don't know who will best address my concerns below—zoning or OKHHD—over 125 Route 6A's renovations, lighting, parking, design, materials, and signage. I don't want to look out my window to ugly halogen lights, more parking, or ramps (that can be moved to the back of the building), and the addition of more inappropriately designed lights that are too bright and stay on all night. (The building has multiple square halogens at the moment which need to go.) Please don't continue to homogenize this historic district and its building designs or allow inappropriate building materials. This is not Route 28 or a strip mall alley in Atlanta. This road has some of the oldest and well-preserved housing stock in the county. Other towns have tasteful designs, why can't Yarmouthport. After the most unfortunate approval of CCC Bank renovation, I would like my concerns to be addressed. I have the right as an abutter and a taxpayer in the town for 17 years. I am respectful of my neighbors and do not create light pollution and I keep up my historic property looking historic. Could you please provide me with a list of the Historic District's Board Members and their occupations. It is my understanding there needs to be one architect and one builder on the board. Could you also provide me with the emails of Board Selectman Forest and Stone? I would like them to be aware of my concerns as well. Please send me the board's decisions and let me know when the letter is going out about Zoning. I'm very sorry I can't attend in person as I am traveling north of Boston for work. 125 Route 6A Concerns from abutter at 120 Route 6A: What is the lighting design/program? Request down shine lighting. All building and parking lot lighting to go off at 8 pm--all lighting low light downshine. Remove all box halogen lighting or whatever they are using now from the building--use downshine lighting. Request that interior lights to go off at 7pm if not in use. Ramp—Request ramp access be moved to back of building (south-facing side) versus west side, which faces my home. Will west side remain a grassed area (were they putting in a second driveway)? Or move west side door and ramps to the east side. The building design—does it need sliding glass doors? Is this an emergency room? 7 I thought it was a drs office....I know it is not on the street. How many Dr.'s offices are going to be in this building? I would like to see the plan for driveways and access etc. I do not want additional pavement going in if at all possible. The place already looks like a strip mall in any town USA thanks to the horrible CCCB design. Signage—A 6 x 4 foot sign on a PVC post? Too big and material not appropriate for the historic district. No upshine lighting on ground for mounted signage. Request downshine low light, to go off at 8 pm. Request tasteful/appropriate signage not oversized request wood materials. Materials—doors and windows facing or seen from the street should be wood; windows should be wood true divided light 8/12. Please address. I've lived with the CCC bank design debacle for several years. I did not get the letter all of those years ago and tried to fight after the Historic Board approved that awful inappropriate design/structure in a historic district. Plate glass windows--really? As you see, this all needs to be addressed. I am very concerned about devaluing my property, the proposed structure and use, as well as the amount of parking and light pollution. 33 Thatcher Shore Road Main concerns of abutter at 120 Route 6A. What is the total square footage of the proposed house? What is the lighting plan (design)? Request dowshine lights on house, if being added. What is next to the leach field? Unclear what is going there. This is a very pretty house. Great design. (Please don't overlight the exterior of this house too much). ZONING OR OLD KINGS HIGHWAY HISTORIC DISTRICT 8 Grayce, Will my concerns be addressed? I have serious concerns about 125 Route 6A. Ramp placement, lighting, signage. I am very respectful of not creating light pollution but what Yarmouth has done and allowed in the town is most unfortunate. Starting with the Cape Cod Cooperative Bank and then moving on to the Street Lights. Too much light all around. Respectfully, Nancy E. Berry, owner 120 Main Street, Yarmouthport, MA 02675; 508 367 1903 Thank you for all of your help today.
