Subject:Re: 72 Lookout Road
I spoke to the owner of the property yesterday. She is contacting her landscaping company to get the material
moved. As for the platform to the marsh. That platform has been there since she bought the property in 1997.
She was told by the previous owners it was grandfathered in. The only thing new on that platform is last year
two men in the neighborhood replace the top decking boards to make it safe. She is going back into her
paperwork to confirm that it tis grandfathered in. If there is a department at Townhall that would help with that
and you know which one it is I would appreciate the info.
As for the tree that I would like removed I did put a yellow ribbon on the vines yesterday. And I have attached a
photo of the inside of that tree. The tree is decayed inside. And already has storm
damage.

Thanks Casey
I will wait to hear a resolution to the issues from the property owner before issuing the approval.

Good morning. My apologies for not having the trees marked. I usually do that.
The tree in the back ground is the one we would like to remove. It’s within striking distance of
shed. And the limb on the other tree. Hope the photo helps.
As for the issues at 72 outlook rd, I will pass them along to the homeowner. I only do there tree
care so not sure if that is something the landscaping company has done.
I will be in touch.

Hi Casey
I visited this property this morning to look at the trees. I have attached a photo of the
tree I assume you mean to prune to remove the leader leaning toward the neighbor’s
house? I was not sure which dead tree you were intending to remove as none of them
appears to be leaning. Is it the one shown in the background of this photo? Typically
the trees are marked with tape so I know which ones to look at.
Also, there are a couple of issues at 72 Lookout that need to be addressed:
Landscaping debris is being dumped within the 35 foot no disturb zone. This area
should be cleaned out and allowed to re-naturalized. Landscaping debris should
be stored well outside the 50 foot buffer.
There is a platform/walkway that has been added to the marsh which should be
removed and permitting sought if access is needed.
Once the issues have been addressed I will finalize the admin review.
