FIELD OBSERVATIONS:
PE visited the site on Wednesday 11-24, to review ongoing progress with the light-gage/CFMF installation, MEP roughing,
concrete slab placement, roofing work, site work, etc.
1. United, the miscellaneous metals subcontractor, has finished installing outriggers for the sun shades on the south
façade of Area D and is now working on C. They’ve also installed the roof guard rails at the C-D links.
2. The drywall contractor, Colony, has started to lay track and frame interior walls on the second floor of Area D.
They have finished framing out the CFMF back-up walls at Area D and are now framing exterior walls at Area C,
behind the misc. metals outrigger installation by United. Sheathing work at the north side of D has commenced;
Colony is installing the batt parapet insulation at the same time as the sheathing.
3. The HVAC contractor, Arden, has started his overhead rough-in at Area D, and rough plumbing overhead has
started as well. Stockpiled Duct material for Area D has been sealed against moisture and is typically up off the
slab on pallets
4. Stanley has finished the rough carpentry at Area D and has started roofing, and is in the process of sheathing
parapets and setting blocking, drains etc. in C. (Colony has finished framing the CFMF roof parapets at C ahead
of Stanley).
5. 2nd floor SOD for Area C has been stripped.
6. Marguerite’s concrete installation for walls and footings is complete.
7. Silverback placed the concrete slab-on-grade for Area C level 1 last week (not stripped yet), and is in the process
of prepping for a pour in the gym wing (Area B—scheduled for 12-02). Wire mesh and under-slab VB is in place.
Silverback is also installing mesh and rebar at 2nd floor of B in preparation for an SOD installation next week..
8. Steel erection is substantially complete—just finishing up some roof deck detailing at Areas A and B. Pour stops
that go around 2nd floor of B are in place.
9. Column bases at areas A and B have been grouted.

10. The masonry subcontractor, Lighthouse, has almost finished placing the reinforced 8" CMU "knee walls" to
support the sloping deck at the lower tier of the auditorium at Area A; at the time of observation they were
grouting cells and installing top plates for the auditorium floor deck (see photo).
11. Annese appears to have completed the under-slab electrical rough-in at the kitchen area (Area A) and are
continuing to install underground electrical work at other parts of Areas A as well as B.
12. Harold Brothers has finished roughing the roof drains for the gym in Area B, and tying in to the underground drain
line (see photo); and they are continuing underground plumbing work at both A and B—at the time of observation
commencing excavation for underground storm piping at auditorium lobby.
13. Building earthwork: Robert B. Our is continuing to install stone and back-fill under-slab utilities.
14. Site utility work: Eversource has been on site and “permanent temp. power” is expected next week; water main
installation is almost complete.
15. Site electrical work: Annese is setting light pole bases (see photo).
DEFICIENCIES, SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
· Slight outrigger discrepancies: In Area D south facade, where CFMF is going up behind sunshade outrigger
installation by United, PE observed a discrepancy with the “as designed” dimensions for C.L.s of outrigger pairs
relative to the R.O. window jambs (the misalignment appears to vary from ½ to ¾”, +/-). This appears to be an
issue with the placement of outriggers and not the CFMF framing.
