The wetland transitions with an increase in elevation to managed lawn with white oak (Quercus alba FACU-) and pitch pine (Pinus rigida FACU) specimen trees within the lawn area and a few Virginia rose shrubs (Rosa virginiana FAC) in the narrow area between the wetland boundary and the lawn.
