I have taken an initial look at the new material and have the following comments:
1. Per the NOI requirements, please update page 3 B. Riverfront Area calculations for 0-100 and 100-200 RA
2. Provide an actual planting plan for the proposed mitigation plantings – note that given the elevations of the
driveway area to be removed, wetland plant species may be appropriate for much of this area. Please include
how this area will be restored given the existing pavement and likely compacted soils. Also address how the
grading will be changed in the area of the current retaining wall along the edge of the driveway. The contours
on the plan stop at the wall location.
3. The narrative does not directly address how the proposed work meets the performance standards in the
regulations. In particular section 10.58 (5) for redevelopment in riverfront area. Please address each item a)
through h)
I will circulate the material we have for review by the Commission. I will accept items 1 and 3 in the short term to allow

us to open the hearing on February 3 , so the Commission can provide comment and ask questions. Item 2 will need to
be provided for review prior to closing the hearing.
