PETITION#: 4934: 181 South Street, South Yarmouth
At its 6/17/2021 meeting, the Conservation Commission reviewed a Notice of Intent for
the above property, for the construction of a 20'xl6' two story addition off the westerly
side of the existing dwelling within the buffer zone to a bordering vegetated wetland and
land subject to coastal storm flowage. The Commission voted to approve the proposed
work with the condition that 110 square feet of mitigation planting by added to the edge of
wetland. The approved plan is titled Site Plan (Proposed Addition) 181 South Street, South
Yarmouth, Thomas A Pozerski PE, Merrill Engineers and Land Surveyors, dated June 22,
2021.

At its 12/16/2021 meeting, the Conservation Commission reviewed a Request for
Amended Order of Conditions to allow for the lifting and temporary move of the house,
removal of all contaminated soil from beneath the house and within the existing foundation,
and new foundation walls within the footprint of the existing foundation. The work
originally approved under the Order of Conditions was an addition, deck and new septic
system. The Commission voted to approve the proposed work, per Site Plan of Land, 24
Charles Street in South Yarmouth, Amended Order of Conditions, Kieran Healy PLS, BSC
Group, dated 121312021, and New Foundation for Existing Structure Maclsaac Property
Plan and Notes, Scott Orlowski, Apex Engineering 1211612021
