Some of the recent storms on a slope hasn’t made it easy, but we will tidy up as the material begins to unfreeze. Nevins'; Ian McCarthy Subject: RE: Nevins 35 Merchant Ave Hi Julianne I took a look at the site today. I am concerned with the sediment movement outside the work line limit where the silt fence has been damaged. This area needs to be cleaned up and the silt fence reestablished (dug in) to stop any further sediment movement outside the work limit. I have attached the tree removal sign off and a link to the cooperative extension plant list. https://ag.umass.edu/sites/ag.umass.edu/files/fact-sheets/pdf/conservation_list.pdf Regards Kelly Grant Conservation Administrator Town of Yarmouth 508-398-2231 Ext 1288 kgrant@yarmouth.ma.us From: Julianne C. Nevins \[mailto:JCNevins@sgh.com\] Sent: Wednesday, January 26, 2022 2:38 PM To: Grant, Kelly <KGrant@yarmouth.ma.us> Subject: Nevins 35 Merchant Ave Hi, Kelly. I wanted to reach out with a few questions and to get your guidance and direction. 1. First, we would like to ask about removing a large oak tree that has been leaning for some time and is now leaning/falling into our dock. Would it be possible for you to look at it with me and see if it could be something you could approve administratively? 2. Second, there is a small existing pear tree in our streetside/street adjacent planting area. It’s shown on the plan, but we want to take it out when we do the planting detailed in the plan this spring. I hope this is a small item that you can approve? 3. Third, we will have to repave the driveway after damage done during the work, and I trust that is ok? We might add a small cobblestone border at the top rather than all asphalt. We will also replace the mailbox (we currently have a mailbox and a newspaper box, both damaged during the work, and will replace both with a new single mailbox post). This will likely allow us to lower the total amount of paved driveway as it currently widened at the street more than we need. 4. Lastly, I want to ask about two areas not addressed in the plan – an area next to the street listed on the plan as lawn that will get refreshed, and the area where the mailbox is. I would like to explore putting scattered irregular flagging in the upper area (like the attached, not fully hardscaped but with grass). Would this require an amendment to the plan? Similarly, I would like to clean up the area around the mailbox as we need to repave the driveway and I can lessen the amount of paving that drifts into that area. I am hoping to explore adding some planting and a very small amount of hardscape if possible (something like two strips of cobblestones to 3 indicate a spot to park if needed; like the attached, but smaller). If these would complicate things too much, let me know. Thank you for your consideration and assistance, Julianne Nevins Julianne C. After a delay in finding a landscaper available, we are ready to go. The three documents are:  Certificate of Compliance for SE83-1191. Filed and attached. 4  Order of Conditions for SE83-2286. Filed and attached.  Attested copy of the previously issued Certificate of Compliance for SE83-17 (with raised seal). The registry did not file this document, they told me that there was nothing they could do with it as it does not have a book and page number. I will retain the copy in out files. I scanned it here as well in the form that you sent it. st Do you need me to drop off the originals of the 1 two? Now that we are filed, the landscaper is beginning to prep.
