Hello, I don't have a problem with the choice of roof shingles or the WC siding of the barn. However, I am not keen on removing the chimney. I learned of the restoration work done on a house in Sandwich where a second chimney was redone to restore the original appearance and I assume function. It was an 1830's house. I would think about that and perhaps talk to Tom.
