FIELD OBSERVATIONS:
PE visited the site on Thursday 01-27, to review ongoing progress.
1. The ACM / GFRC panel cladding subcontractor (Lymo) has mobilized; at the time of observation they were in the
process of installing the ACM at the mockup (see photo on page 2).
2. At the time of observation Colony appeared to have about 85% of wall sheathing completed at Area C (see photo
on page 3). Interior LGMF detailing work is ongoing at Area D, and as well as selective (i.e. upper) interior sheet-
rocking (see photos); basic interior framing is ongoing at Area C.
3. Electrical, HVAC and plumbing installation is ongoing at interior walls in Area D. Piping rough installation for
HVAC (radiant panels and RTUs) is complete or nearing completion (see photo on page 3). Annese is installing
wiring in the electrical closets. MEP rough-in is ongoing at Area C, including installing piping hangers for the
radiant panels. (see also attached GGD report).
4. At the time of observation Beacon had completed AVB membrane installation at Area D, and AVB installation was
in progress at the north side of Area C as well as the C-D links. (see photo on page 3).
5. Lambrian has ‘temped in’ the curtain wall openings at Area D and so Area D is now fully enclosed; MEP wall
rough-in at Area D is ongoing; LGMF framing and HVAC and plumbing overhead rough-in is ongoing at the first
and 2nd floors of Area C.
6. Lambrian is in the process of installing windows at area C; this work is approximately 30% complete.
7. Installation of fire protection mains and distribution at Area D is ongoing; Rustic is about to move down to level 1
according to CB.
8. Masonry work at the gym by Lighthouse is ongoing; at the time of observation the masons were working on
erecting scaffolding and tenting at south side of the gym, and had were laying the fourth course of acoustical GF
block for the east wall (meaning that they were about one-half of the way up on that side) -- see photos pages 4-
5.

9. At the time of observation the electrical below-slab raceway rough installation in Area A was substantially
complete, and RBO was installing the final grade (crushed stone base) at the south part of Area A (music wing
area)—see photo on page 5.
10. The roofers installed the auditorium roof membrane earlier in the week (see photo on page 5), and at the time of
observation the Stanley crew was working on the lower part of the Area B roof.
11. The elevator pit in Area C has been waterproofed according to CB.
12. Silverback poured the first part (north part) of the SOG in the central part of Area B on Tuesday (01-25). Relief
joints were cut on 01-26 (see photo on page 5). The south side of Area B SOG is scheduled to be poured on
Tuesday February 1st.
DISCREPANCIES, SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
12001. (From 01-20 site report): Bond beam support question at gym east wall. Lighthouse asked how to support
the north end of the bond beam above the door given the 5” OF drain pipe at the gym east wall (at B33/K.8
per detail 6/A.515). [see photo] Girard issued a sketch for a composite support scheme. Update: CB sent a
photo to GAC showing that the support angle had been welded to the column prior to bond beam
installation—this item is being closed
11301. (From 01-13 site report): Conflict between light shelf framing and radiant panels. Update: still open; RFI
has been responded to but it is not clear that the solution PE suggested is going to work as intended.
11302. (From 01-13 site report): Guard rail welds at D & C stairs - United still needs to grind welds for guards at
academic stairs (see photo). still open
10601. (From 01-06 site report): Inside curve at auditorium east wall. still open
21603. (From the 12-16 site report) OF scuppers. still open
