2. Stanley is installing the aluminum coping at the mockup (see photo on page 5).
3. Lymo Construction (cladding subcontractor) is in the process of installing the standoffs for the framing for the oko
skin at the north and west sides of Area D (see photo on page 2).

reports that full sheet rock installation at Area D will commence next week assuming inspections are completed.
6. HVAC and plumbing overhead roughing is ongoing in 1st and 2nd floor C wing.
7. Lambrian is continuing window installation in Area C; and Beacon is continuing to strip in the windows; Lambrian

14. Robert B. Our completed the subgrade prep for the PCC retaining wall for the upper field, and they are in the
process of installing the retaining wall (see photo)
DISCREPANCIES, SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
21001. Coping at the mockup. CB observed that Stanley was installing the coping without the ¾” gap for vent space
that is required by Reider per shop drawings (for venting the top of the wall cavity at the GRFC panels). CB
will instruct Stanley to correct this on the actual building.
11301. (from the 1-13 site report) Conflict between light shelf framing and radiant panels. Update: Per RFI
response, United framed the outriggers for the light shelves in about four different typical classrooms in Area
D, however Arden/CB now say that two steel plates are required at the point where two radiant panels come
together. CB will consult with Arden about ways to make the original north-south steel dimensions work.
11302. (From 01-13 site report): Guard rail welds at D & C stairs - United still needs to grind welds for guards at
academic stairs (see photo). still open
10601. (From 01-06 site report): Inside curve at auditorium east wall. Update: this work was completed. This
item is being closed.
21603. (From the 12-16 site report) OF scuppers. Harold bros has installed the originally-specified ‘lamb’s tounge’
scuppers at the overflow outlets high on the building, in spite of revised (B14) detail, which called for
changing to a square one. still open

This Report is in reference to the proposed Retaining Wall installation that is located Due East of Athletic Field # 2.
Construction Notes: The earthwork construction procedures, (foundation preparation) for this installation were
performed in accordance with the design documents submitted by COWEESET ENGINEERING, of West Bridgewater,
Massachusetts – Segmental Retaining Wall # 2, Orientation Plan dated: June 7, 2021. References to Wall Location,
orientation, stationing and other ancillary construction specifications that are not directly linked to Foundation
Preparation are also included in this submittal. The aforementioned documents are not included in this Earthwork
Monitoring Daily Field Report.
Excavate to design subgrade elevation using best practices
Place a 12” thick layer of Compacted ¾” Crushed Stone upon subgrade
Retaining Wall Blocks may now be placed upon the Crushed Stone surface
In‐Situ Native Sand Preparation Detail :
The soil matrix encountered at subgrade elevation largely consists of uniform medium to fine sands and fine sands with
scant traces of non‐plastic silt. Therefore, the proper in‐situ compaction of this material is largely dependent on the
relative moisture content of the soil. Since the encountered materials are of native, (natural) deposition the water
content can vary from location to location. Each situation must be evaluated to determine that the proper soil
compaction techniques are utilized vis‐à‐vis the moisture content of the soil. In other words, it may be necessary to
moisten some areas with supplied water in order to certify proper compaction of the native sand subgrade in these
circumstances.
