WORK IN PROGRESS: 1) Interior partition framing 2) Exterior framing and sheathing; parapet framing 3) AVB installation and prep for window installation; stripping in of Curtain wall 4) Curtain wall installation 5) PCC Base at Area D and CMU at gymnasium 6) Roofing 7) Drywall 8) MEP rough-in 9) HVAC and plumbing overhead rough-in 10) Fire protection installation 11) Misc. metals work FIELD OBSERVATIONS: PE visited the site on Thursday 02-24, to review ongoing progress. 1. PE walked the site in the morning to review site progress with Eric Wilhelmsen of CDW, and also made observations at the service area where there are pending layout changes. 2. Colony is continuing to install exterior framing and sheathing at the south side of Area B. 3. At the time of observation, Waterproofing membrane AVB installation was proceeding at the south façade of area C and at the north façade of area B (see photo on page 3). 4. At the time of observation, Lymo had commenced installing mineral wool on the north façade of D. 5. and Interior partition detailing (soffits and portals etc.) is ongoing in area C. 6. Rough in is almost complete at Area D. CB is pushing to complete plumbing rough-in in Area D. 7. HVAC, plumbing and electrical rough-in ongoing in Area C, including gas piping installation and plumbing overhead rough installation; plumbing rough-in has commenced at area B. 8. At the time of observation, Colony was installing blocking for roof ladders. 9. Lambrian is continuing Curtain Wall installation in Areas C and D. 10. Rustic is almost finished with protection distribution in Area D. 11. Spray fireproofing of the steel has commenced at the second floor of Area B (i.e. fireproofing the roof and roof structure.) 12. At the time of observation, Stanley was installing roof membrane at the music wing (Area A south). 13. Lighthouse has installed about 80% of the PCC base for Area D, and the ground-faced CMU work is almost up to the top course at the south façade of the gym. The staging has come down at the North wall of the gym and the CMU wall is ready for United to begin installing the seismic clips at the top of the wall (see photo on page 3). 14. Building A is getting prepped for a 3-08 slab-on-grade pour at the music wing (south side) as well as the lobby through to the main atrium area; the edges have been formed and Silverback is almost ready to begin installing the mesh (see photo on page 3). REPORT BY: ABH Page 2 of 3 DISCREPANCIES, SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS 22401. Wainscot in corridor B134. PE discussed upcoming change to resolve the current conflict between the wainscot and the columns on line B24, by eliminating the furring layer that is currently shown on the wall along B24. This will create a 4” jog in the tile wainscot at the expansion joint with the main building (where the CMU terminates). Pertinent details will be re-issued in bulletin 29. 11301. (From 01-13 site report): Guard rail welds at D & C stairs - United still needs to grind welds for guards at academic stairs (see photo). still open 21603. (From the 12-16 site report) OF scuppers. Weather Partially cloudy, 35 degrees Observations The main parking area has been partially paved, with some of the rain garden areas roughed in, and is being used for much of the construction parking. The athletic field (lower field) to the immediate east of the new building is the main soil stockpile area, while the other easterly field (upper field), has been partially graded out, including the partial construction of the upper field’s associated retaining walls.
