CONSTRUCTION NOTES:

2. SCOPE OF WORK CONSISTS OF EXTENDING THE EXISTING SHOREFRONT PROTECTION ALONG THE SHOREFRONT WITH A HYBRID SOFT SOLUTION TO BLEND
INTO THE ADJACENT REVETMENT. THE SINGLE ROW OF ROCKS SHALL BE BURIED HALF WAY INTO THE SOIL, ONLY EXPOSING 1.5 FEET OF ROCK.
3. CONSTRUCTION ACCESS SHALL BE FROM THE APPLICANT'S PROPERTY. EQUIPMENT SHALL BE STORED ON THE APPLICANT'S PROPERTY WHEN NOT IN USE.
4. THE WORK ACTIVITY SHALL OCCUPY A MINIMUM AREA TO ACCOMPLISH THE INSTALLATION OF THE SCOUR APRON. EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS HANDLING
SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE WORK PROTOCOL SUBMITTED WITH THE NOTICE OF INTENT, THE RESULTING ORDER OF CONDITIONS AND AS DIRECTED
BY THE YARMOUTH CONSERVATION AUTHORITIES.
5. ALL WORK SHALL BE ACCOMPLISHED FROM THE UPLAND. THE NEW ROCK INSTALLATION MAY BE ACCOMPLISHED WITH A SMALL EXCAVATOR ON THE
LANDWARD SIDE OF THE TOP OF BANK OR ON THE COASTAL BEACH ABOVE THE HIGH TIDE LINE.
6. ALL AREAS DISTURBED DURING CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE RETURNED TO THEIR PRE -CONSTRUCTION CONDITION. ALL WORK SHALL BE INSPECTED BY
SHOREFRONT CONSULTING AND RECEIVE APPROVAL BEFORE REMOVING EQUIPMENT FROM THE SITE.
7. THE ACCESS ROUTE AND WORK SITE SHALL BE CLEANED AND RESTORED TO RESEMBLE THE PRE -CONSTRUCTION CONTOURS AND CONDITIONS.
8. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL OBTAIN A COPY OF THE ORDER OF CONDITIONS ISSUED FOR THE PROJECT BY THE YARMOUTH CONSERVATION COMMISSION
PRIOR TO THE START OF ANY WORK.
9. ANY OTHER DEVIATION FROM THE DESIGN PLAN SHALL BE BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF SHOREFRONT CONSULTING FOR APPROVAL BEFORE
PROCEEDING FURTHER.
10. A 5-FOOT WIDE VEGETATED BUFFER SHALL BE MAINTAINED BEHIND THE SCOUR APRON. PLANTS SELECTED SHALL BE FROM THE CAPE COD COOPERATIVE
EXTENSION LIST AND APPROVED BY THE CONSERVATION AGENT PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION.
11. THE EXISTING WOODEN STEPS SHALL BE REPLACED WITH EITHER TIMBER OR ALUMINUM AND WILL BE SEASONAL.
