Hello Kelly, I am writing to you regarding the Notice to Abutters sent to me relative to the 122 Exeter Rd project. We live at 119 Exeter Rd and have lived there since aprox 1977. While we are happy to see the 122 lot be developed into a nice house we are extremely concerned about adverse impact to the already high water table and/or runoff. Already, two homes ( 103 and 108 Exeter Rd) pump water into the road during the wet seasons and we had to build our home up when we rebuilt in 2005. So , our real concern with the proposed build at 122 Exeter Rd has to do with these types of issues, Specifically; 1- Can the town assure us that the excavation and structures going below grade will not adversely affect the historically high water tables in the immediate area... 2-It appears from the Septic design plan that the grade is being built up almost 6 feet above the existing road...Can the town assure us that the resulting Runoff will be mitigated during and most importantly after construction... 3- Given the build up over existing grade will the eventual House be within the existing residential zoning height limit... 4-Given the build up over existing grade in the front facing Exeter Rd, are there any plans/requirements for softening with landscaping etc....especially since the lot has been clear cut already... Your consideration of these issues will be greatly appreciated. Lastly, if some of these issues are more properly handled by another Town Department please so advise. Thank you, Steve S Laverty 119 Exeter Rd 1 --- Stephen R. Laverty (C)617-816-6500 2
