SUBSTANTIAL ALTERATIONS PROCEDURE
Proposal for alterations submitted for a building that is listed on a
State or National Register of Historic Places (outside of the OKH
District). (If not in an historic district or listed on a register, YHC has no purview
over renovations regardless of age)
Proposal presented to the Historical Commission for
"Substantial" determination
Historic Commission to determine if alterations are "Substantial".
CCC Definition of Substantial Alteration:
An Alteration that jeopardizes an historic structure's individual
eligibility for listing in the Nation of Register of Historic Places, or its
