HomeMy WebLinkAboutSummarySummary: Note: the words Supporting Structure & Supporting Framework are words directly used in the zoning bylaw 303.5.4.1 We applied for, and a permit was issued for our freestanding sign in June of 2021. We fabricated and installed the supporting structure I framework and painted it. (There is nothing in the bylaws about color of the supporting structure 1 framework) We installed the sign onto the supporting structure 1 framework. Someone complained about our sign. The building inspector came out to investigate. He did not measure the sign, he mistakenly measured the supporting structure 1 framework. Our sign measures 96" x 22" = 15 SgFt (Bylaw allows 24 sgft) We were issued a violation notice. and here we are... The following Photos and documents clearly show the difference between a sign and a supporting structure I framework, as all of these have been approved by the Yarmouth building department.
