Hi Ryan
Sea Lavender is a salt marsh plant, so I don’t think it grows in upland areas – it needs a lot of moisture. I would choose
from the dry beach, dune or bank plants.

Hi Ryan
Yes, As long as it is suited to the specific growing conditions. Here is another resource with some recommendations
https://www.mass.gov/service-details/coastal-landscaping-in-massachusetts-plant-list
I have attached the approval letter that gave requirements for irrigation. Temporary fencing was not required but
should be used where there is any unstable sediment slopes, until they are stabilized. Sand fencing may be used around
the dune replication area to trap windblown sand in that area.

Good Morning Kelly
Thanks for reaching back out. This is great! I’ll take this list to the nurseries and see wahts most available. Just to clarify,
that any of these plants listed could be substituted for the Beach Heather, correct? In moving forward, what steps would
you like to be included in. Before/ after planting, temporary irrigation plan/ install, and plan/ install temporary fence?
Let me know what works for you, Ryan

Good Morning Kelly
Hope all is well. We have completed the removal of lawn and beach sand project and are looking to move ahead with
the plantings. I have attached the plant varieties we would like to use as recommended from the original plan. We have
not had any luck finding Beach Heather. Could we assign a substitute in its place? If you would like to set up a time to
meet or discuss, please reach out.
Thanks for all your help, Ryan
