Prior Items
31702. (from 03 17 site report) Gym truss misalignment: Due to an apparent installation error, there is a
slight misalignment in one of the bottom chords in the N-S direction (at col line K.8). This problem was
submitted as RFI 325, and Girard responded on 3-14. Norgate or United to address the prescribed
repair to straighten the bottom chord. Update: This fix is complete and item will be closed
31703. (from 03 17 site report) Curtain wall corner at gym. The CW at the two east corners is slightly too small in
plan for the masonry opening. CB verified that the opening was built correctly. The CW will need to be
altered in order to fit properly.—Update: PE directed CB/ Lambrian to fix this by holding the the jamb joints
to ¾”, englarging the corner box slightly, and pushing the CW in about an inch (in order to minimize the
change at the corner).
31002. (from 03 10 site report) ‘As-builts’ for outrigger position – Area A. Update: CB verified the location of the
outriggers in Area A and advised that they have been installed accurately. This item is being closed.
31003. (from 03 10 site report) Exposed HSS support brackets in gym (see photo on page 3). CB asked about
masking this condition; PE proposed grinding the steel down as much as possible and infilling voids with
pieces of GFCMU. still open
22402. (from 03 03 site report) Caulk color Update: still open
11301. (From 01-13 site report): Guard rail welds at D & C stairs - United still needs to grind welds for guards at
academic stairs (see photo). still open
21603. (From the 12-16 site report) OF scuppers. Harold bros has installed the originally-specified ‘lamb’s tounge’
scuppers at the overflow outlets high on the building, in spite of revised (B14) detail, which called for
changing to a square one. Update:. Harold bros submitted a modest COR to switch these out; this item is
being closed.
