CB pointed out that the upper part of the HSS column at A.17/V (auditorium lobby) impinges on the interior space by more than an inch. PE and the Colony foreman discussed a solution that would involve furring out with 7/8” furring channels (see photo below). 4142. Accent paint at classroom walls. The O’Bryne foreman approached PE about RFI #343 (re accent color locations). At O’Byrne’s suggestion, PE directed that the main wall color should carry across the accent wall above the horizontal reveal. The day after the meeting in the field, PE asked CB to use accent colors corresponding to the krion around the doorway on the classroom side. Prior Items 3311. (from 03 31 site report) Missing expansion joint. Update: Colony has addressed the missing expansion joint as requested on 3-31 (see 4-07 report), but PE additionally requested that Colony tweak the location of the jog in the wall finish at the gym corner so that it coincides with the south edge of the interior EJ, and to coordinate radiant panel size with Arden—still open. 3173.
