DISCREPANCIES, SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
4211. Miradrain issue at turf fields. CB, RBO, PE, Traverse, and PMA met to review RBO’s progress and to
discuss Traverse’s RFI 340 response (saying not to use drainage fabric above the drain pipe at the synthetic
turf). Also see attached Traverse site report.
4212. Facia plate at auditorium. Per measurements by United, the steel fascia at the balcony was installed ½” too
low, so that the edge of the porcelain tile will show. PE to look at options and direct.
4213. Steel protrusion at auditorium. Paul Genereux (CB field super) asked about the steel frame that is protruding
slightly at both sides of the upper auditorium. This will need to be concealed with a bump-out (+/- three
inches). CB to review with theater seating contractor for possible impact on seat layout.
4214. Slab depression at kitchen. Paul Genereux asked about the ½” slab depression at the kitchen, which CB
believes is incompatible with the specified (non-poured) epoxy floor. PE to research.
Prior Items
4141. (from 04 14 site report) Poorly plumbed column at A.17/V. CB pointed out that the upper part of the HSS
column at A.17/V (auditorium lobby) impinges on the interior space by more than an inch. PE and the Colony
foreman discussed a solution that would involve furring out with 7/8” furring channels (see photo). still open.
4142. (from 04 14 site report) Accent paint at classroom walls. PE had O’Byrne to make the main wall color carry
across the accent wall above the horizontal reveal and to use P-09 (yellow) around the doorway on the
classroom side. Update: PE approved classroom paint mockup installation with minor comments (see photo
below) – this item is being closed.
3311. (from 03 31 site report) Missing expansion joint. Update: Colony has addressed the missing expansion
joint on level 2 as requested on 3-31 (see 4-07 report), but still needs to tweak the location of the first floor
EJ: Colony confirmed that 2nd floor WRM was coordinated, and PE approved location of EJ on level 2.
3173. (from 03 17 site report) Curtain wall at gym corner. still open.
31002. (from 03 10 site report) Exposed HSS support brackets in gym.. still open
