NO EXISTING SALT MARSH SHALL BE DISTURBED AT ANY TIME PRIOR TO, DURING,
OR AFTER THE COMPLETION OF THE NEW PIPE CULVERT INSTALLATION AT BOTH
SITES. THE PROPOSED TEMPORARY SHEET PILE COFFERDAM AND ALL OTHER
DATUM:
EROSION PROTECTION INSTALLATIONS SHALL BE INSTALLED PRIOR TO THE
START OF ANY CONSTRUCTION WORK AT THE SITE. THE PROPOSED TEMPORARY
ELEVATIONS SHOWN HEREON ARE
SHEET PILE COFFERDAM INSTALLATION WILL ALSO SERVE TO ASSIST IN THE
BASED ON THE NORTH AMERICAN
CONTROL OF TIDAL WATER FLOODING THE WORK TRENCH SO THAT THE PIPE
VERTICAL DATUM OF 1988 (NAVD 1988)
CULVERT INSTALLATION WORK CAN BE MADE IN A DRY TRENCH TO THE MAXIMUM
EXTENT POSSIBLE.

IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT NO MORE THAN TWO DAYS WILL BE REQUIRED AT EACH
CULVERT LOCATION TO COMPLETE THE INSTALLATION OF THE NEW CONCRETE
WINGWALLS AND PIPE CULVERTS AND OPEN THE PIPES TO TIDAL FLOWS.
