Re: 414 Route 6A — Multiple Violations
Dear Property Owner,
It has come to the Old King's Highway Committee's attention that the fence, sculpture, and gate fencing
on your property located at 414 Route 6A have not been removed as requested per notice sent on May 11,
2022 (copy enclosed), and permission has not been requested for approval for the trim color, the color
change to the house door, the color change to the barn doors, and the color change to the hayloft door.
As these items have not been approved by the OKH Committee, you are hereby informed that you continue
to be in violation of the Old King's Highway Act for the following reason(s):
1. Installation of a fence without approval from Yarmouth Old King's Highway Committee
for appropriateness and setting.
2. Installation of a sculpture visible to the street without approval from Yarmouth Old
King's Highway Committee for appropriateness and setting.
3. Change to the trim color on the house and barn, and color change to the house door,
barn doors, and hayloft door without approval from Yarmouth Old King's Highway
Committee for appropriateness and setting.
4. Gate fencing on end posts at the end of the driveway has been added without approval
from Yarmouth Old King's Highway Committee for appropriateness and setting.
To clear these violations and to avoid further action, we ask that you address these items within 15 days of
receipt of this notice. The first violation notice sent to you included a Certificate of Appropriateness which
can be filed in order to request approval for the items listed above.
