All applications must be submitted two weeks prior to the next scheduled Conservation
Commission meeting. Refer to Meeting Schedule.
Failure to follow the Administrative Checklist shall result in an Administrative Incomplete
Application and will not be scheduled for a Public Hearing.
Contact the Conservation Office if you need assistance.

On 4/17/2015, the Commission issued an Order of Conditions for the
above -referenced site, for the razing of an old dwelling with
construction of new dwelling, septic system, pool, cabana and
retaining wall. Mitigation plantings were required as part of the
project. An Amended Order was requested subsequent to this Order,
for permission to extend the retaining wall, re -locate steps and
add plantings.
A site visit/inspection/as-built were made in June of this year
for the purpose of closing out the Order of Conditions. Pictures
and an as -built of the site are enclosed for review. A previous
request in 2017 to close out the Order was denied, as the
Commission felt that the project had not been completed as per the
Order. Specifically, gutters and downspouts directed to drywells
had not been installed, and the second growing season had not
occurred for the mitigation plantings. Per Kelly Grant, once
these items had been addressed a new request for a Certificate of
Compliance could be submitted.
The following minor deviations were noted:
® There is a deck in place of the patio area to the rear of the
dwelling
® Downspouts have been directed to stone trenches to the rear
of the cabana (which is at the outer limit of jurisdiction
for the Riverfront). No erosion issues were observed.
® The pool is rectangular; area seaward of pool up to retaining
wall is level instead of sloping, as was proposed.
Except for the minor deviations.as outlined above, this is to
certify, to the best of my knowledge and belief, that the work was
performed in substantial compliance with the approved plan and
(Amended) Order of Conons. We hereby request the issuance of a
Certificate of Compliance at this time.
