Variance(s) requested under 310 CMR 15.211: Minimum Setback Distances: • The potable water well at 6 Smiths Point Road is 146' away from the SAS for 53 Uncle Roberts Road,requesting a variance of 4' from the 150' requirement. • The potable water well at 6 Smiths Point Road is 132' away from the SAS located at Lot 107 Smiths Point Road,requesting a variance of 18' from the 150' requirement. Finding that the potable water well is located up gradient of both these soil absorption systems, with groundwater flowing away from the well and toward these soil absorption systems, maximum feasible compliance is obtained without compromising the quality of the potable water well,therefore these variances have been approved.The well shall continue to meet drinking water standards.
