DISCREPANCIES, SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
New items
7191. Brick pattern at inside corner. At the inside corner between the C-D link and D wing (west side) the gaps
created by the recessed brick need to be caulked (see photo p. 3).
7192. Gap at PCC base and CW at Area D stair entries. The +/- ¾” gap between the CW mullion and the return of
the PCC base should be addressed by scraping back rigid insulation caulking properly (see photo p. 3).
Prior items
7141. (from 07 14 site report) Edge detail at C-D stairs. In some cases there is an excessive gap between the
stair stringer and the wall; PE asked CB to have United close with a thin 12 gauge plate welded to top of
stringer.
7142. (from 07 14 site report) MAAB issue with Interior door frames. PE inventoried 13 instances of 3’ wide
interior doors that conflict with MAAB 26.6.2 because the face of the door will be recessed 8” from the face of
the frame (so that the MAAB clearance box per 26.6.4 is not within 6” of the door). Update: see bulletin 40
dated 7-21-2022-this item to be closed.
7072. (from 07 07 site report) DD-1 diffusers. In some cases the DD-1 diffusers need to be plumbed so that they
are orthogonal with the millwork at the window seats. Update: this is being corrected: this item to be
closed.
6301. (from 06 30 site report) Distortion in some panels of CW IGUs. CB, PE, and PMA are in discussion
regarding the acceptability of this distortion. still open
6162. (from 06 16 site report) Parapet ends at links. Still open
6305. ( (from 04 21 site report) Steel protrusion at auditorium. Still open.
1131. (From 01-13 site report): Guard rail welds at D & C stairs - United still needs to grind welds for the guards
at academic stairs. Still open.

Observation Description
Site Hardscape
Northern Courtyard 12.1
July 20, 2022
Jointing at the northern courtyard is incorrect and does not match direction as shown on plans (L2.1). Contactor is not being
directed to replace concrete. Traverse discussed the matter with Commodore Builders and PMA including Paul Genereux and
Ryan Dirico of Ricky Sughrue Commodore Builders along with Mitch Miller and Nick Hull of PMA. Commodore agreed to
expand concrete at the center of the courtyard to align walkway with the completed jointing pattern. The new jointing pattern
also effects the Cartesians Plan design (detail 14/LD1.1). Traverse to supply a Sketch to show Cartesian plane within new
jointing pattern and expanded concrete.

detail 12/LA2.0 which shows that curb can be exposed in some areas based on the slope. Curbing at fence openings shall be
