This property is now vacant after a fire destroyed the house located on the parcel. The two abutting property owners along Bliscott Avenue would like to split this lot in half, creating two non-buildable lots which they would like to purchase for use with their abutting properties. The submission was complete and included the required fee, Form A, ANR plan, and appropriate number of copies. The ANR Plan is entitled, “Approval Not Required Plan of Land #27 Bliscott Avenue South Yarmouth Massachusetts” and was prepared by Craig Field, PLS, of BSC Group, dated and stamped February 12, 2018. Bliscott Avenue is a previously approved private road. However, as the two lots being created are clearly noted as being unbuildable unless combined with other adjoining land, minimum frontage requirements do not apply. The Town Surveyor had one comment suggesting that Lots 31-A and 31-B be referred to as Parcels 31-A and 31-B, for additional clarify (see attached). This application was received on February 28, 2018 along with authorization for a 10-day extension, resulting in a decision deadline of March 30, 2018. This project has been placed on the Planning Board Meeting Agenda for March 21, 2018. Planner Suggestion: Recommend the Planning Board make a motion to endorse ANR Plan #2736A, dated February 12, 2018.
