7. Wood floor installation in the gym is well underway (see photo on page 5).
8. Epoxy flooring in the locker areas is complete and at the time of observation Walker was installing the toilet and
changing stall partitions.
9. At area B, Wright was in the process of installing custom millwork in the media center (see pages 3 and 4), as
well as the Area A cafetorium (see photo on page 5).
10. The cafetorium/kitchen overhead doors have now been installed, as well as the loading bay rolling door at the
custordial work area.
11. Stage Rigging for the “cafetorium” stage is going in (also see issue #9294 below).
12. At Area A. Colony has taped the drywall at the music rooms and is about to start taping the drywall at the

REPORT BY: ABH Page 2 of 6
Exterior items:
1. At the time of observation, Lambrian was completing the CW Caps at curtain wall type C3 (auditorium lobby
corridor)--see photo at the bottom of page 3.
2. The exterior envelope cladding is nearing completion. At the time of observation on 9-29 Lymo had completed the
ACM panel installation on the front facade, including (with Lambrian) for the curtain wall spandrel panels at the
auditorium corridor (see 9-29 photo on page 5).
3. The final GFRC panel infill at the east elevation of Area C has been completed (see photo on page 6)
4. The only major item that Lymo still has to complete is missing panels at the roof bulkheads and back parapets.
Site work:
1. At the time of observation on 9-27, RBO was installing the boulders for the round ‘cul-de-sac’ next to D wing on
the West (see photos in attached TLA site report K1008-18).
2. RBO has started installing the athletic field light posts (see photo on page 6 in TLA site report K1008-18).
3. EA Quinn is in the process of installing landscaping in the courtyards and elsewhere around the site (see photos
in attached TLA site report K1008-18).
4. Playground equipment installation is ongoing (see page 4 in attached TLA site report K1008-18).
5. At the time of observation, RBO was putting in the crushed stone for the front plaza area in prep for concrete
installation, as well as installing the soil “mounds” at the planting areas (see TLA report K1008-18).
DISCREPANCIES, SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
New items
9291. Archway at cafetorium entrance: (9-27) CB informed PE that, due to sprinkler pipe conflicts, the “river
ceiling” in the main lobby 1st floor is not going to meet the intended design height of 9’-0” to the bottom of the
straight slats. (The same issue is observable at some of the corridor crossings in the academic wings.) For
the main lobby in B, PE asked CB to “pause” the adjacent millwork portal installation, so that PE can try to
lower the head of the portal, along with the ceiling, and thus the ‘portal’ won’t end up going above the ceiling.
(Exact Solution TBD).
9292. The light grey accent wall paint in some classrooms in D looks splotchy; On 9-29 PE discussed this issue
with O’Byrne’s foreman, Brendan, who stated that he was planning to return to the classroom wings to touch
up that and other areas, but that the priority now is to keep everything moving in Areas A and B.
9293. De-fillibrator (AED) recess. PE pointed out that we apparently missed the blocking and the cutout/recess for
the emergency cardiac de-fillibrator (AED) at the Wixon entrance, per Bulletin #29. It was supposed to go on
the west side of the lobby adjacent to the Wixon entrance. PE noticed that there is already an electrical outlet
at that location that will preclude Arden from installing it exactly per Bulletin #29, but CB said they would
have Colony install it on the north side of the portal.
9294. RFI #441- cafetorium stage rigging conflict (9-29) CB showedPE that the conflict between the main stage
curtain (HC2) and the track for the folding partition is more severe than the theater consultant had suggested
in the drawing that was issued with the response to RFI #441. The pipes will need to shift further west, so in
order to make everything fit PE directed CB to omit one of the valences (pipe #4).

Equipment
Playground Area 18.4
September 28, 2022
Playground equipment installation is progressing.
Ricky Sughrue of Commodore reached out to Traverse about the play surfacing. Multiple playground/fitness equipment
pieces are delayed and may cause potential issues with play surface installation scheduling. Traverse is looking into potential
solutions with Commodore.
In addition to reviewing equipment use zones and clearances per specifications, Traverse recommends that a playground
manufacturer rep or contractor review and confirm all play equipment per approved shop drawings plans prior to play surface
installation. Contractor shall receive approval from the owner's representative prior to installing the playground surface per
specification 32 18 16.
Refer to specifications for all play surface testing.
Basketball court pavement was being installed. Traverse takes no exception to the work.
