1. Mackenzie Meschwitz arrived on site at 0630 hours. Left site at 1400 hours. 2. Earthwork equipment:
A) Komatsu PC290LC-11 Excavator B) Caterpillar D8T Bulldozer C) CASE Construction SV216 Single Drum Roller D) McCloskey R155 Screener
3. Earthwork observed: A) Excavation operations took place within the proposed stormwater basin area located within the
southwesterly portion of the site today (see Site Sketch, Figure No. 1). C.C. Construction excavated
up to about 5± feet of natural sand generally consisting light tan, fine to medium SAND, trace Silt, trace (-) Roots, and trace (-) fine Gravel. The excavation terminated in similar natural sand at approximately proposed bottom of basin elevations.
B) Cutting operations took place today within the proposed pavement area located within the southwesterly portion of the site (see Site Sketch, Figure No. 1). Up to about 0.5± feet of apparent natural subsoil was cut from the noted area. The exposed subgrade consisted of sand appearing to generally consist of reddish-tan, fine to medium SAND, trace to little Silt, trace Roots, and trace (-)
fine Gravel. Proof compaction of the exposed subgrade is planned to take place at a later date. C) Screening operations took place today within the southwesterly portion of the site within the proposed pavement area (see Site Sketch, Figure No. 1). The screening operation was performed to
prepare loam material for the base of the proposed stormwater basin area. CC Construction utilized the McCloskey R155 Screener to screen organic material from on-site stockpiled loam.
