DAILY FIELD REPORT PROJECT: Proposed FedEx Distribution Facility FIELD REPORT NO: 27 PAGE 1 OF 3 PROJECT NO: Z486.01 DATE: 12/08/22 LOCATION: 225 White’s Path, South Yarmouth, MA CLIENT: 225 White’s Path Units 2 and 3, LLC WEATHER: Sunny, 33-45 ºF CONTRACTOR(S): DellbrookǀJKS; Lawrence- Lynch Corp. 1. Mackenzie Meschwitz arrived on site at 0700 hours. Left site at 1530 hours. 2. Earthwork equipment: A) One RoadTec RP-195e Asphalt Screener B) One Caterpillar VR-32-13 Vibratory Tandem Drum Roller C) One Caterpillar CB24B Vibratory Tandem Drum Roller 3. Earthwork observed: A) Lawrence-Lynch Corp. performed paving operations today within the westerly proposed parking area as well as within the entrance road leading to the parking area (see attached Figure No. 1 – Site Sketch and Photo Log). The undersigned observed the placement and compaction of one, 2½± to 3 ± inch thick loose layer of black, hot premixed bituminous concrete (binder course asphalt). The undersigned took asphalt temperature readings during placement ranging from about 260°F to 290°F. Compaction took place with one Caterpillar VR-32-13 vibratory tandem drum roller and one Caterpillar CB24B vibratory tandem drum roller making about 10± passes prior to the asphalt temperatures cooling to about 140°F. The undersigned measured compacted asphalt thickness at various locations around the pavement area. The measured thickness generally met or excessed the specified minimum binder course thickness of 2.5 inches. The undersigned performed Pavement Density Test (PDT) nos. 1 through 14 on the compacted binder course asphalt layer (see attached Figure No. 1 - Site Sketch for the approximate test locations). The test results indicated that an adequate degree of compaction was achieved at each test location. Refer to the attached Summary of Pavement Density Tests sheet (page 3 of this report) for additional information. 4.
